Banggai Cardinal Fish

Banggai Cardinal Fish

Banggai Cardinal Fish

At the BELL, I observed a Banggai Cardinal fish.  It’s skin looked like striped Desert Storm camouflage.  It had black stripes with silky brown eyes.  It’s fins were bird-like and dotted black.  It was the color of the eagle feather in our room.

The Banggai Cardinal was very calm and moved with the current.  Another   swam with it.  But the Banggai Cardinals never left each other’s side, like twins.  It had a favorite rock.

The Banggai Cardinal was in the saltwater tank. There were grayish brownish corals and water plants that were many colors.  There were a whole bunch of different varieties of fish in the tank.

I wonder what the Banggai Cardinal would feel like if I could touch it.  I wonder if it’s eye would feel spongy like a bluegills eye.  It feels like a blown up balloon.
