Make A Difference Day 2008

 Once again our fifth graders took charge of our school's Make A Difference Day project.  This year's theme was "Play Well - Stay Well."  The entire school was encouraged to bring in new games to be shared with local hospitals, rescue shelters and assisted living facilities.  We are still hearing from families who received one of our donated books to Mott's Children's Hospital (a Make A Difference Day project three years ago).  We also encouraged families to play a game together (we heard lots of great family stories about spending time together playing games).  Once again, our families demonstrated their generosity and care for others (over 220 games were sent to ten different organizations!  Citizenship in action!
