What a wonderful job I have...principal of Blissfield Elementary School!  It is an honor to represent our district and to work with such wonderful teachers, students and parents.  I have been the principal here since the fall of 2004.  This is not my first experience at Blissfield Community Schools.  I am a "local girl" having graduated myself from Blissfield High School.  I began my teaching career in Blissfield, teaching first grade from 1976-1982.  I have two children who are also Blissfield High School graduates.  Prior to coming back to Blissfield in 2004, I was employed by Siena Heights University.  For 15 years I worked as an associate professor of teacher education and director of Siena's Undergraduate Teacher Education Program.  I have a wonderful family of my own...husband Mark, daughter Maria and son Benjamin.
