6Th Grade Math—Course Description In Math class, the students will cover the material that is in the state benchmarks and strands. We will also focus on Grade Level Content Expectations. The math book will focus on these through the following areas: Number Sense, Patterns and Algebraic Thinking, Decimal Operations, Data and Statistics, Number Patterns and Fractions, Fraction Operations, Integers, Equations, Inequalities and Functions, Ratios and Proportions, Percents, Geometric Figures, Measurement and Area, Surface Area and Volume, and Probablity.
