We have a long tradition of providing a wonderful experience for our 5th grade students! 5th Grade Outdoor Education, commonly called 5th Grade Camp. We are entering out 33 year of Outdoor Education here at Blissfield!  Our first year was in the 1976-77 school year! (Some of you parents will remember when you went! Remember the "Snipe Hunt?") As a fifth grader, students enjoy a wonderful and unique learning experience every year!  This year  we will experience Outdoor Education at Storer Camps from March 11th to March 13th.  All of the 5th grade teachers will spend the three days with their students.  As always, we all enjoyed a rich and positive experience. For the past ten years we have had 99.6% of our students in 5th grade attend!  Our cabin leaders are chosen from our top academic high school junior or senior students.

Travel groups!  It is exciting that we are able to take cabin leaders from our high school!  They did a great job and we are always asked how we are so fortunate to have such outstanding young adults to work with our fifth graders.  At the last flag lowering it is a tradition of Blissfield Outdoor Education Experience to have our cabin leaders sing the National Athem!  They made an impact on our 5th grade students' lives!
