The world was moved with compassion with the news of the devastation in Haiti.  It was true with Blissfield Elementary students as they became active to reach out to the hurting.  Three girls in my classroom had an idea that sparked the school into action.  “Make a Change for Haiti” was the idea of Miranda, Taylor and Natalie. They put their idea into action as they challenged Mrs. Crane idea of  “Hats for Haiti.”   Which ever idea collected more money took the other out for lunch! Together, both challenges collected $2,952.56 which was given to HEH for the people of Haiti! We are proud of all the elementary students of for their generous hearts!
