The name WOW (World of Wonder!)  was given to my classroom by elementary staff members because of the dedication to teach 5th grade science lessons and supplement K-4 classes with investigations, observations and experiments when time permits.  Its design and its connection to the Blissfield Environmental Life Lab makes it a unique learning center.  Every teacher dreams of making a difference in the life of a child.  I am fortunate to work at Blissfield Elementary School where the Administration and the Board of Education  have released me to reach children and enrich the science curriculum.  A lot of my free time is spent to align K-5 science curriculum with the new Michigan science benchmarks.   If we all take time to stop and observe our world in which we live, we will realize it is a World of Wonder.  My desire is that children (and adults) will be captivated and  realize that "On our Way to discover Truth, we will find Life!"
