Welcome,  Second-grade students and parents, to my website, a place to find news, events, information on great things happening in our second-grade class!    Second grade is a time of great character-building experiences in reading, writing, math, social studies, and science.  This grade is an important "building block" in the establishment of good work habits and learning patterns that will help transition the student through the following grades successfully.   It is my goal to help each child be a successful, excited learner not only in second grade, but throughout the years ahead. 

         Weekly information, curriculum studies, the current spelling list, and important events are included in "Mrs. Hibdon's Weekly News", a newsletter sent home each Monday.   Special events of our class, plus photos, can be seen on this website.   Check back periodically to find out the latest scoop from our class!
