"THE   LITTLEST   PUMPKIN"

 Mrs. Hibdon's class welcomed second-grade classmates and family and guests to view their play, "The Littlest Pumpkin" at the end of October.   Farmer Fred and Mr. Pie came to select some choice pumpkins from the pumpkin patch, but never picked the littlest pumpkin in the patch.   The Scarecrow encouraged the littlest pumpkin to cheer up, until two children came to select a pumpkin for Halloween.   Who did they select for their special pumpkin?   The littlest pumpkin!   After painting a jack-o-lantern face on it, the littlest pumpkin was happy to be a pumpkin face and not a pumpkin pie!
