The Blissfield Community Schools Theatre Program is dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in theatre educaiton. Several opportunities exist at the Middle School and High School for students to participate in a variety of activities, spanning many aspects of theatre including performance, set design and construction, lighting, sound, make-up and box office. During the school day, high school students may earn Fine Arts credit through participation in Musical Theatre, a unique hands-on course taught by Wanice Linn. After school, Middle and High School students have the opportunity to participate in both full-length plays and musical theatre productions. Students who have shown an aptitude for theatre and a sincere desire to pursue excellence in theatre arts may be inducted to our theatre honor society, Troup 6353 of the International Society of Thespians.
