2009 Fall Play Combines Performance and Visual ArtsThe Blissfield Department of Fine Arts, along with the BHS Thespian Society and Musical Theatre class will present Florence, David and Art, a comedy/drama in three acts on Thursday and Friday, November 12th and 13th @ 7PM. When nine American high school students enroll themselves at Art School in Florence, Italy, little do they realize how their perspectives on life, love and art will be changed forever. Battling culture shock, bidets, and homesickness is difficult enough, but add in summer romances, striking train workers, and a chaperone that disappeared five minutes into the trip and you have all the ingredients for a summer to remember. Theatre buffs and art lovers alike will enjoy this production, which combines a student art show with the theatrical performance. Admission is just $3 for adults, $2 for students and senior citizens, and children five and under may attend free of charge. Come out and support our student artists!
