Bearded Dragons live in the Australian desert. They sleep on the ground, trees or rocks in dry open areas. Bearded Dragons eat insects, vegetables, leaves and flowers. They move at the hottest times of the day. They blend in with their surroundings for protection. Its skin is rough and dry and the “spines” aren’t really pokey they’re like its skin. They help to scare off predators. Bearded Dragons get warm in the daytime and their colors brighten up. At nighttime their colors get darker.
