 Welcome to Blissfield Elementary School! It hardly seems possible that the 2008-2009 school year has ended! We had a great school year! Our second semester "Double A" program recognized 44 students who had perfect attendance from January through June; ice cream treats at MacDonalds brought many smiles! We had another 22 students who earned perfect attendance recognition for the entire school year; lunch at Lena's provided a nice opportunity to honor them! "Double A" also awards Gold Cards for acts of kindness above and beyond what's expected - we had over 50 students who visited the Royal Prize Gallery. We are so grateful for our families and for the partnership we have between home and school! At the end of the school year we received notification that we had once again earned a Michigan Report Card grade of "A." We do not take this recognition lightly, but instead, we consider it a reflection of our commitment to excellence. It is also a reflection of the dedication of our teaching staff, the incredible skills and abilities of our students, and the wonderful support of our families and community The 2009-2010 school year has now begun and we are excited about the challenges and opportunities it will present to us. To our parents and community members...we welcome you to another school year. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me. We welcome your visits to the school - it gives us a great opportunity to show you all the wonderful things that happen here every day!
