AdvancEd Parent Surveys Now Available!

Dear Parents of BMS Students,

In an effort to improve system practices, Blissfield Middle School is conducting a Parent Survey. We value your opinion and ask that you take time to complete the survey as a part of our Systems (District) Accreditation process through AdvancEd. By visiting the site below, you will be able to complete the survey which will help us make decisions regarding school as we head into the future. Your honesty is appreciated and answers are anonymous. Our Project Lead The Way computer lab will be open during Parent-Teacher Conferences on Thursday, April 17 from 12:30-3:30 and 5:00-8:00 if you prefer to take it then. AdvancEd School Accreditation Surveys

Parents are asked to complete an online survey in order to give Blissfield Community Schools vital feedback for our AdvancEd Accreditation process. The Middle School will have a survey specific to our building and the information gathered through this survey will help us to make decisions as we move into the future. Beginning April 14 through May 2, parents can visit the middle school website to access the survey. Students, faculty and staff will also take similar surveys appropriate to their relationship with the school. Thank you, in advance for your time and willingness!

Changes to the School Year and Parent / Teacher Conferences

Blissfield Community Schools will be adding nine and one-half school days to the 2013-2014 calendar as a result of 16 days cancelled this winter due to severe weather conditions.

 

 

On Thursday, April 17, students will now be in session for a half-day (11:05 dismissal for BMS) followed by Parent / Teacher Conferences from 12:30 -3:30 and 5:00 – 8:00pm.

 

All additional make-up days will be added to the end of the school year, resulting in the last day of school now being Friday, June 20. The previously scheduled half-days of June 6 and 9 will become full days while June 19 and 20 will be half-day sessions.

 

Commencement for the graduating senior class will remain on Friday, May 30 as originally scheduled.
