2nd Grade uses the BELL for Amphibians and Reptiles for life science. The lab is used for physical attributes that can be studied by using the animal’s skin texture. Investigations with the life cycle of the plant are also made.
Mrs. Graf uses the lab’s animals for fiction and non-fiction stories as a cross curriculum activity.
After students handled animals they wrote stories about the animals and read books about the same kind of animal.
